Fifteenth-placed Chelsea FC will host Southampton on Saturday afternoon in the eighth game week of Premier League.
Chelsea has collected 8 points from seven games this season and sit at the 15th position in the league table. Starting the season on a horrible note, the Blues are struggling in their title defending campaign.
Last week Jose Mourinho’s men were behind by 2 goals against Newcastle United, but somehow they managed to restore parity and collect one point at least.

Chelsea- Eden Hazard was dropped from the starting XI for the midweek game against Porto, but he is likely to return to the starting fold for Chelsea on Saturday evening. Diego Costa will be unavailable as he continues to serve a three-match suspension, meaning that Remy could be given the nod, with support from Ramires. Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois remains out of action with injury, so Asmir Begovic, who has conceded seven goals in all competitions, will retain his place. The question mark is who will start in defence, and following the showing against Porto, Mourinho might put his faith back in John Terry, with Kurt Zouma likely to step aside. Zouma’s form lately has been terrible.
Southampton- For Southampton, Sadio Mane, Dusan Tadic and Graziano Pelle are expected to continue their roles in the attack, while Ryan Bertrand could continue his reintegration into the side following a spell out with an injury. Jordy Clasie is said to be closing in on a return to fitness, so could be named on the bench for the encounter at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea possible starting line-up: Begovic; Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas, Ramires, Willian, Hazard; Remy
Southampton possible starting line-up: Stekelenburg; Cedric, Fonte, Van Dijk, Bertrand; Wanyama, Ward-Prowse; Tadic, Davis, Mane; Pelle.
Predictions- Chelsea should be able to see off the Saints. We expect a 2-1 win for the Blues.
