Ozil, who signed for the Gunners for a club-record £42.5 million from Real Madrid in 2013, is one of the most important players for Arsenal. He finished last season top of the Premier League assists chart with 19 and will look to replicate that form as the North London club is desperately trying to end their Premier League title drought.
The Gunners will now look to convince Alexis Sanchez to sign a contract extension. The Chile international’s current contract with the club is expiring in 2018 and there have been a lot of speculations about his future after he was linked with several clubs.
