Moses In; Willian Out! Chelsea Predicted Lineup To Face Bournemouth This Weekend

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea are back in action this weekend after their important victory over Manchester City at the Bridge earlier this week. They have kept the Spurs seven points away from the top of the table and are looking for yet another win this weekend when they face Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side away from home. The Cherries are fresh from a well-fought draw at Anfield and will hope to put in a similar performance on the night but they will have to be at their best to take anything from this game.

The Chelsea manager will be pleased with the way his team has performed in recent times and will hope that they can keep up their good work and take home all three points from this tie but it will not be easy against a Bournemouth side that showed great solidity in defence earlier in the week against Liverpool. Here is the team news and predicted lineup that Conte might field for this tie:

Team News:

The Chelsea boss has almost no injuries to worry about ahead of this tie. Versatile winger Victor Moses missed the last couple of games with a calf injury but he is expected to be back in action alongside Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and David Luiz, all of whom were regarded as doubts for this clash.

Expected Lineup (3-4-3):

Defense:

While Thibaut Courtois returns to full fitness, he should start this game between the sticks. Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill have been solid at the back for Chelsea this season and should form the backline for Chelsea in this tie.

Midfield:

While Victor Moses should be back to his favoured wing-back position on the right flank, Italian star Marcos Alonso, who has been in superb form off late, should play on the other side. French midfielder N Golo Kante is the first-choice player for Conte and should start this game and though Nemanja Matic has been preferred this season, Conte should go with Cesc Fabregas as the Spaniard will allow for more creativity in the midfield.

Attack:

While Willian has been productive in an advanced role, Pedro was used as a wing back but with Moses back in the squad, the Spaniard is expected to claim his place further forward, pushing Willian to the bench. Eden Hazard has been electric off late and should start this game alongside Diego Costa for Chelsea.

Here is how they would line up:
