Chelsea will welcome Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon in a clash which can decide Jose Mourinho’s fate in his beloved Chelsea.
A showdown of this huge magnitude always hijacks headlines in every season, but this particular weekend big match between two top-level managers is a bit different.
This will be Jurgen Klopp’s first major game as a Liverpool manager. The German manager till date has an unbeaten streak under his belt as the Kop boss. He would desperately want to maintain that.

Ahead of this vital game week 11 encounter against Liverpool, Mourinho addressed the press and said: “Courtois and Ivanovic are out. Pedro and Diego we are going to wait on, the others are fine.”
About opposition manager Jurgen Klopp, Mourinho said: “I’m not a close friend of Jurgen Klopp’s because football doesn’t allow that, but he’s a guy I like a lot.”
The manager also spoke about his star player Eden Hazard. He said: “It’s not because he missed a penalty I will criticise Eden Hazard. He had a positive game at Stoke and I was pleased with him.”
Jose Mourinho about the match, said: “We are going to try and play as well as we did last season against Liverpool.”
Mourinho being asked about in this run said: “You don’t know my story… you want to buy my book?”
On asked if Chelsea would qualify for Champions League, Mourinho replied:“I can’t promise.”
Mourinho on Ramires’s new contract: “He’s a player who is ready to play, be on the bench, it’s his mentality as a group man.”
He further added: “Liverpool is a big club. Man United is a super big club. Neither qualified for CL in last two years… still monster club. That’s football.”
