Last night Ukraine and Spain’s Euro 2016 qualifying encounter got an unexpected visitor in the stands.
A hooded Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was spotted and suddenly reports were coming that the Portuguese might be scouting Ukraine attacker Andriy Yarmolenko, who according reports also a hot target of Arsenal.
The 25-year-old striker now plays for Dynamo Kiev and apart from Chelsea and Arsenal, has long been in top priority list of Liverpool, Everton, Tottenham and Spanish giants Barcelona also. It is expected the race to rope in Yarmolenko will become much more exciting in the upcoming winter transfer window as it could be the last opportunity for Dynamo Kiev to cash in using the star player.
Yarmolenko’s contract will expire at the end of this campaign, and then he will be available for free transfer. In the last summer transfer window also, he was chased by lot of clubs but nobody could sign him as he was rated around £ 13m.
Mourinho is tracking Yarmolenko for is ability to play in any attacking position, since he was managing Real Madrid. As we all know when Mourinho runs for a player, he will not take any rest until the job is done. Money not a factor as long as Roman Abramovich is in the scene. And the Portuguese manager is desperate because right now his attacking line-up doesn’t look much convincing.
