Chelsea visits St. James’ Park this weekend to take on Newcastle United in an important game week 7 encounter.

Chelsea was struggling at the 16th position before last weekend. They defeated arch rivals Arsenal to go up by one spot. They are still near the deadly relegation zone. The only thing good for the side is that they are on winning streak at the moment. They have won 4 matches back to back and thought might boost their confidence a bit.

Here is the predicted lineup of Chelsea against Newcastle United:

Asmir Begovic will start under the bar for the Blues as Thibaut Courtois is still out of action due to injury. Begovic has done a fair job so far and kept the backline of Chelsea at bay.

Branislav Ivanovic will start as the right-back irrespective of his poor form. Jose Mourinho has immense faith on the veteran Serbian and expects him to regain his form soon. Cesar Azpilicueta will be on the left flank. Gary Cahill and John Terry will be starting as central defenders.

Pedro is likely to come back in the squad and Oscar will be featuring too in the attacking midfield role with Eden Hazard on the left. Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic will be fielded in the central midfield role.

This is the most vulnerable position of Chelsea in the absence of the main striker Diego Costa. Costa was involved in a tussle last week with Gabriel Paulista which saw suffer a 3 match ban from FA. We expect Radamel Falcao to start in the absence of Diego Costa. Loic Remy might come in the second half.
