Liverpool will get their first chance of redemption after the humiliating 1-0 defeat against Manchester United last weekend when they face a relatively easy fixture in Norwich City this weekend. Both teams will be desperate to get back to winning ways in this game as the Canaries will be hoping to inflict more damage on the Reds.
Norwich City are uncomfortably close to the relegation zone at the moment and unfavorable results this weekend can see them slip into the drop zone. Alex Neil will more than happy to repeat their performance against the Reds in the first leg and will hope to stay away from the relegation battle this season.
Liverpool on the other hand need some consistent results if they are to dream of a top 4 finish. A loss here would seriously end their hopes of European football next season. Here is the Preview of the game along with the Team News, Expected Line-ups, Predictions and Odds.
The Norwich City vs Liverpool game will be played on Saturday the 23rd of November at the Carrow Road Stadium in Norwich. The kick off is scheduled at 12:45 pm BST (6:15 pm IST).
Alex Neil will be happy to have a fully fit squad to call upon for this game against Liverpool. The biggest addition to the squad will be Steven Naismith from Everton who made the move just mid-week and is expected to start the game against the Reds. Pinto and Klose might also find a place in the starting XI making debuts for their side.
Manager Jurgen Klopp had some bad news for the fans as mid-fielder Adam Lallana is out of this game after picking up a knock against United. Striker Daniel Sturridge is still two weeks away from full fitness while skipper Jordan Henderson and Kolo Toure are both given the clearance for this game. Coutinho, Origi, and Skrtel are all out injured for this trip. However, Dejan Lovren might back on contention for this game after a stint out due to injury.

Naismith vs Sakho:
Steven Naismith has not found a place I under Roberto Martinez but will surely be hoping to make an impact at Norwich City. He will face familiar foes Liverpool and will be up against Sakho in his first outing. Sakho was superb against Manchester United and will have to be in similar form too see off any threat carried by Naismith and the Canaries.
Benteke vs Bassong:
Though Benteke did not do much in the last few outings he is still a very capable goal scorer and will hurt Norwich city if he is able to find his stride at the Carrow road. Sebastian Bassong has a huge job on his hands to keep the Belgian away from harms reach and will have to be at his best if Norwich are to get a result from this game.
Liverpool have won 9 and lost none of the last 11 Premier League games against the Canaries.
Liverpool have scored just once in their last 4 Premier League outing away from Anfield.
The Reds have scored 22 goals in the last 11 meetings however Luis Suarez scored 12 of those.
Norwich City are unbeaten in the last 5 games at the Carrow Road and have conceded just 2 goals in the process.
Norwich City have conceded a league-high 14 goals from crosses this season.
The Canaries have the same record (W6 D5 L11) at this stage of the season with just 23 points as they had two seasons ago when they were relegated.
Norwich City: 14/5
Liverpool are expected to beat the home team in this fixture as they have a superior squad but Jurgen Klopp has just not been able to get the best out of each player and the Canaries will be sniffing an upset in the lunch time kick off at Carrow Road. It will surely be a tough game for the Reds who are expected to take all three points.
