Manchester United young winger Adnan Januzaj has completed a season long loan move to Sunderland, the club has confirmed.
The deal meant that Januzaj becomes the third Manchester United player to join Sunder land this summer following Paddy McNair and Donald Love.
The 21-year old has first broke into Manchester United first team under David Moyes and have made an impact in his debut season at Old Trafford.
However, the winger has fallen down the pecking order under Louis van Gaal and his career came to complete stall down before moving to Borussia Dortmund on a loan spell.
He was later called back to Old Trafford in the middle of the loan spell last season. However, new manager Jose Mourinho doesn’t have any plans around the young winger and the Belgian international was expected to leave Old Trafford for the upcoming season.
‘Adnan will give us a different variation. I have to get him back to the level he played at two years ago,’ Moyes said.
‘He will get every opportunity to do the business. I’m hoping the Sunderland fans will see the real Adnan Januzaj.’
Moyes is keen to renew his manager career in England and sees Januzaj as a potential player who could change his fortunes at Sunderland. The Black Cats has signed defensive duo of Paddy McNair and Donald Love on Thursday.
All the three players would be available for selection for Sunderland’s opening fixture against Manchester City at Etihad tomorrow.
