Watford has completed the signing of Chelsea starlet Kenedy on a season long deal, the club has confirmed.

The 20-year old Brazilian is one of the highly-rated young forwards in his country before making a move to Chelsea last summer from Fluminense for a massive £6.3 million.

He has played decently in his first season as he managed 20 appearances for the Blues and have scored a crucial winner against Norwich City in their 2-1 victory.

The addition of Michy Batshuayi and N’Golo Kante has not helped the talented midfielder’s cause as he has fallen further down in Conte’s plans. However, the Italian boss has expressed his interest in sending him on loan to gain crucial first team football as part of his development.

Kenedy has not featured in any of the first four games under Conte as loan deal is expected to be struck for the talented winger.

The 20-year old can play both as a winger as well as a left-back which will add more options for Watford as he provides depth to the squad.

The player becomes the 12th signing for Hornets as they look to build on their impressive performances last season. Watford are keen to stay in the Premier League this season and have spent massively to strengthen their squad so far.

Kenedy now joins the long-list of players that left Stamford Bridge on loan this summer. The Hornets also announced the return of former defender Adrian Mariappa as they are going through a busy day.
