Slaven Bilic could not help West Ham build on their 2015-16 campaign as they failed to establish themselves in the top half of the Premier League table in the previous season.

It is now high time for the Croatian manager to help the London club back to their best and he is making some monumental efforts to improve on his options in the squad.

The  Hammers have a decent squad at their disposal but the lack of consistency and constant injury issues meant that they need quite a few additions to their squad if they are to compete for a place in Europe next season.

Bilic is already looking at some fine players for a move this summer and the latest name on the radar of the London club is Arsenal star, Theo Walcott.

West Ham are already looking at Arsenal’s French hitman Olivier Giroud, who is expected to fall down the pecking order if Arsenal are able to land Alexandre Lacazette this summer.

It is understood that West Ham are willing to meet his valuation after the transfer window is open and have now also turned their attention towards the English winger.

According to reports from the Sun, Theo Walcott is now ready to quit the Emirates before the start of the next season and West Ham are ready to offer Arsenal £25m for his services this summer.

The 28-year old started the season in fine form but was not able to show consistency in the crunch period, which saw him fall down the pecking order under Arsene Wenger.

He was unable to claim a place in the first team after Wegner shifted to a 3-4-3 system and with the manager also looking to add another winger, Walcott has decided that he has no future at the club.

At 28, he is in his prime and will want to put in some nice performances this season to impress the English manager Gareth Southgate to steal a place in the squad for the World Cup next year.

So he will be willing to leave Arsenal in the upcoming weeks but do you think West Ham will be able to land him?
