Edin Dzeko has completed his season-long loan move to AS Roma after deciding to end his four-year spell with Premier League side Manchester City.
Serie A side have been after Dzeko’s signature for a long time and after weeks of negotiations, they have finally signed the player on an initial season-long loan with an option of signing him on a permanent basis later on.
According to Di Marzio, Dzeko’s loan fee for the season is 4m with the buy-out clause named at 11m. It has also been confirmed that Dzeko wll wear number 9 jersey at AS Roma.
Dzeko was training with the Giallorossi al this week but a deal was far from getting completed. After series of documentation errors, Dzeko has finally signed for the Serie A side.
Roma confirmed the signing in a statement, which read: “AS Roma are delighted to confirm the signing of Bosnian international Edin Dzeko from Manchester City,” the Giallorossi confirmed on their official website.
“The 29-year-old striker put pen to paper on a contract with the Giallorossi today after successfully completing his medical in Italy.
