The deadline day has provided the fans all across Europe with some interesting stories, some of which were actually true.
London franchise Arsenal is one of the many Premier League clubs that were busy today with stories linking players with a move to and away from the club.
The manager has completed the signing of two European stars recently and still seems to be in the transfer market to add some depth to his squad ahead of the next season.
However, he has also had to keep hold of his players who are wanted by other teams.
But one player who has now completed a move away from the Emirates is German U21 international Serge Gnabry.
The 21-year-old prodigy moved to Arsenal after Wenger was reportedly spellbound by his game a few years ago.
However, he made just 18 appearances at the Emirates and was loaned to West Brom last season where he managed to find just 1 game in the senior side all season.
This has seen him unsettled at the club with the likes of Bayern Munich reportedly interested in his signature.
It was revealed that the German giants are ready to buy the player and loan him out immediately this summer.
But all such stories have now come to an end with German outfit Werder Bremen completing a £4.5m move for the player on the last day of the transfer window.
The manager of the Bundesliga outfit made it clear that no other club is involved in the deal and that they are happy to have completed the signature of one of the most talented youngsters in Europe at the moment.
Gnabry said: ‘I’ve come to Bremen to get playing time, to develop further and to help the team.’
‘Per (Mertesacker) and Mesut (Ozil) have only said positive things about the club. I had very good talks with the management and that has lead me here to Werder and the Bundesliga.
Gnabry had a hard time getting himself into the first team at Arsenal but he will hope that he can have an immediate effect in the Bundesliga coming off a fruitful time in the Olympics in Brazil recently.
