The Dutchman stormed out of the press conference as the Manchester United manager seemed raged over the media’s rumours. The gaffer burst out at the media as he questioned the media of their audacity of printing the fake rumours of his sacking. He slayed the press with his sarcastic comments. The angry manager refused to answer of their questions and his press conference lasted only 5 minutes 48 seconds.
Louis demanded an apology from the media- ‘’Has anybody in this room not a feeling to apologise to me?” said Van Gaal. “That’s what I am wondering.’’ The furious gaffer walked off at the end by wishing everyone a merry Christmas and stated to meet them once again in future and bid goodbye with wishes for New Year.
This dramatic conference spread like wild fire on the internet. The reactions were unreal, as Twitter went bonkers over the incident. Piers Morgan, the ever famous TV personality, commented on this scenario, too. Morgan is well known for his offensive, stupid, hatred and banter-ish tweets. However this time, the Brit made sense. He tweeted saying,
Rather than demand apologies from the media, I suggest Louis van Gaal says sorry to United fans for the way he’s making their team play.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 23, 2015
Well, you have to agree that Piers has a point. He’s right this time, (shocking, isn’t it?!) Van Gaal has disappointed the fans deeply and also let them down massively. The team hasn’t provided the results which the fans anticipate.
Manchester United is one of the biggest clubs in Europe and the fans definitely deserve better than what LvG has served them this season. Louis surely owes them all an apology and the best way to show guilt is to bounce back from the defeats and put up a good show for the fans. Here’s hoping Louis provides them with wins in the upcoming fixtures and gains back their respect and support, soon.
