Tottenham Set To Lose First Team Star To Manchester City, Man United Star Eyed Replacement

The Premier League or the clubs in it, broke a number of records in the summer transfer window before the start of the current season with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea spending big to improve on their squads.

And this summer will not be any different with clubs from across the country busy in trying to lure top transfer targets to their clubs in the summer.

However, with top quality not easy to come by, a few players in the league will be wanted by big clubs for big money this summer.

And there might also be players swapping shirts come the end of the season.

Two such players who could switch clubs this summer are English full-backs Danny Rose and Luke Shaw.

Integral parts of the English nationals squad under Gareth Southgate, Rose, is arguably the best players in his position in the league this season and is the first choice for club and country at the moment.

He has been in great form for Pochettino’s side for more than a year now and the manager at the Lane has already got him to sign a long-term deal this season.

The 26-year old signed a 5-year deal in September but his form for club and country have seen Pep Guardiola take notice. The Spanish manager, who is also looking to spend big this summer, has now made Danny Rose his top transfer target.

With close to 5 years left on his contract, Rose will cost insane amounts but reports from the Mirror claim that Guardiola is ready to splash the cash on the full-back this summer.

And it is now understood that Pochettino has resigned to the fact that Rose will quit the club in the summer and is already looking for replacements.

The Argentine manager, who loves to invest on youth, is now reportedly ready to make a move for United’s misfit Luke Shaw.

The 21-year old left-back is the backup for Rose in the national setup and is one of the most exciting players in the league at the moment.

However, he has not been able to impress his new manager at the Old Trafford and has found any kind of game time hard to come by.

He is currently behind Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian in the first team for Mourinho and is looking for an exit and Pochettino is reportedly ready to steal him away at the end of the season.

The report also suggests that Shaw is ready to take a pay-cut from his £80,000 a week wages for this switch which might happen this summer.

Do you think Luke Shaw and Danny Rose will both be on the move this summer?
