The English calendar gets more cruel on the top flight teams who will now be in action just more than 2 days time after the fourth round of the FA Cup in the weekend. A whole round of Premier League fixtures await us as the points table is starting to take shape.

Even in this unpredictable season, we have tried to come up with some predictions for the games this mid-week. Here are the predictions for the 24th round of the Premier League fixtures:

West Ham United vs Aston Villa:

The Hammers will start favorites in this game but Remi Garde has instilled some solidness in the Villains who might prove hard to beat given their recent performances.

Our Prediction: West Ham 0-0 Aston Villa

Leicester City vs Liverpool:

The top of the table Foxes will surely find it hard to get over a gritty Liverpool team but will be expected to take all three points from this game and keep up their surge at the top of the table.

Our Prediction: Leicester City 2-1 Liverpool

Sunderland vs Manchester City:

Even as it was announced that Pellegrini will leave the club this summer, he will want to end the season on a high and will face a relatively easy fixture against the Black Cats and is expected to take all three points from the game.

Our Prediction: Sunderland 1-4 Manchester City

Arsenal vs Southampton:

The Saints will surely make for a tough game for the Gunners who are now playing catch up at the top of the table. Even at the Emirates, Arsenal will not start the game favorites and will have to do well to get anything from this game.

Our Prediction: Arsenal 1-1 Southampton

Norwich City vs Tottenham Hotspur:

The Canaries will find it hard to contain a free scoring Spurs side that are looking more and more dangerous as the season goes by. Even at Carrow Road, Pochettino’s men will start this game as firm favorites.

Our Prediction: Norwich 0-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Crystal Palace vs AFC Bournemouth:

Both teams have lost the good form that they found at the start of the season and are desperate for some results. Palace will start as slight favorites but anything can happen given the nature of this season.

Our Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-3 AFC Bournemouth

Manchester Untied vs Stoke City:

The recent performances of the Red Devils will give the Potters plenty of confidence going to Old Trafford and the visitors will try their best to pile on the misery on LVG with a victory after losing to the Foxes in the last game.

Our Prediction: Manchester United 0-0 Stoke City

West Bromwich Albion vs Swansea City:

Swansea have shown some promise in recent times but will find it hard to get anything from a trip to the Hawthorns with the Baggies looking to get some results to keep themselves away from a relegation battle.

Our Prediction: WBA 2-0 Swansea City

Watford vs Chelsea:

The Hornets will try their best to inflict the first loss on Chelsea under Guus Hiddink since he took over. Chelsea have not looked comfortable off late but are improving and face a tough game at the Vicarage Road this mid-week.

Our Prediction: Watford 2-2 Chelsea

Everton vs Newcastle United:

Everton have been unlucky this season and have not been able to close down games from winning positions. They will face a tricky fixture against he Magpies with the game bound to be interesting and go do down to the wire.

Our Prediction: Everton 3-3 Newcastle United
