According to Guardian, Several Premier League teams including Liverpool and Manchester United are tracking the Marseille winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou. The French international has gained reputation as one of the best young talent since joining Marseille last summer. Regardless of Marseille’s struggle in mid-table, the winger has flourished in his role, scoring eight goals and assisting four times.
Scouts from West Ham United, Liverpool, and Manchester United watched N’Koudou performing against Lyon on Sunday night. Despite the young age, he has earned a regular start in the team and has promised to perform up to the expectation.
He has been part of 12 goals from the French side, the best tally for a U21 player across five top European leagues.
Other offensive targets for Premier League teams such as Michy Batshuayi and Ben Yedder are reluctant to move from their respective teams and that has pointed the fingers to N’Koudou.
It is rumoured that Premier League heavyweights are expected to lodge a bid for a fee around 20 million pounds, which they expect to lure Marseille.
However, the president of Marseille has voiced his unwillingness to sell the player, at least not sell him for 50 million pounds. If he stands resolute with the condition, it is expected that comparatively minnows like West Ham may look elsewhere for boosting their attack.
N’Koudou started his career with Nantes and made 40 appearances for the club, scoring three times before joining Marseille last summer.
