Burnley’s star striker Danny Ings has turned downed the offer of Real Sociedad and David Moyes despite flying to spain earlier this month. According to the latest reports, the 22-year old set his sights on Anfield in summer as he will be out of contract at Burnley.

Despite interest from clubs like Manchester City, Chelsea, Spurs and Real Sociedad the former U-21 English striker decided to head to Anfield this summer. With the striker moving to Anfield, Burnley can make a huge amount of £6 million as a compensation rather than making £300,000 if he had opted for Spanish club Real Sociedad.

This sum would be a huge advantage for the club to make strong signings in the summer even though they get relegated to Championship again. Ings has contributed to 52 percent of Burnley‘s 25 goals this campaign—netting nine and assisting four in 23 appearances.

Since Ings is pacey he could add a much more value to Liverpool’s attack where stturidge and Sterling can play wide if Brendan Rodgers deploy a 3-4-3 formation. With Mario Balotelli likely to move away from Anfield thi summer he will be a valuable addition to the squad for Brendan Rodgers.

Burnley Manager Dyche said,”I have no reason to doubt his thoughts about Burnley Football Club and what we’re doing. You can tell that by his performances. There is no concern from me. I have said all along, his performances make it quite obvious he is enjoying his football.”
