French giants Paris Saint-Germain are looking to swoop in for Manchester City’s striker Sergio Aguero and Arsenal’s star forward Alexis Sanchez this summer, according to reports.
PSG are currently struggling both domestically and in the Champions League after losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Manchester United last summer. The French champions are keen to replace the Swede with another high profile player and are keen to land at least one of the star players this summer.
Sergio Aguero is facing a tough time at the Etihad this season as manager Pep Guardiola has constantly overlooked him since the start of the season. The Argentine is recently put on the bench as Guardiola is keen to provide playing time to new arrival, Gabriel Jesus who has been an instant hit in the league so far.
The situation of Aguero has put the French giants on alert, according to the Daily Mail. Meanwhile, Arsenal have failed to meet the demands of their star forward so far with the Chilean yet to sign a new contract despite months of contract talks.
Sanchez is arguably the best player in the Premier League this season and has been phenomenal for Gunners since the start of the season. He could be a great addition for any side in Europe next summer as he could be available for a cut-price deal as he will be into the final year of the contract at London.
PSG are more keen on Alexis Sanchez as he will be available for a cheaper price while signing Aguero would need significant money with the Argentine considered as one of the best strikers in the world and still has a long contract with Manchester City.
The Ligue 1 outfit are one of the biggest financial powerhouses in the world and signing either one of the star duo would be a huge boost to their squad which has lacked the final touch in Champions League over the years.
