Souleymane S, the man who was denied entry into Paris Metro train by Chelsea fans last month has turned down Chelsea’s offer to visit Stamford Bridge. Chelsea officials sent an invitation for Souleymane to watch Chelsea vs PSG champions league 2nd leg tie but the person turned down the offer.
The Chelsea management offered the gentleman with a VIP package but he is reluctant to attend the football match. Five supporters have been suspended by Chelsea after the incident and the club has already made clear if anyone were found guilty they would be banned for life-time.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho said that he was “ashamed” of the incident and club owner Abramovich is said to be “disgusted” with the incident.
Souleymane’s lawyer Jim Micheal-Gabriel told the press and the media that the invitation has been received and his client has turned down the invitation.
“He doesn’t want to go to London to watch a football match because he’s very shocked. It’s too early and he’s told me it’s too early for him to go to London and to see the match,” Jim Micheal-Gabriel said.
“He doesn’t want to see a football match at the moment. He doesn’t want to go,” he added.
