According to the latest reports from England, Manchester City’s manager Manuel Pellegrini is considering a bid for Real Madrid’s star midfielder Isco. The midfielder played under City’s boss at Malaga.
It is under Pellegrini he excelled and got noticed by host of clubs across Europe. With Pellegrini moving to Manchester City many thought that he would sign Isco as his first marquee signing for Manchester City. However Real Madrid came into the thick of things and brought the talented midfielder.
With City needing a creative midfielder in the middle, Pellegrini once again considering a move for Isco to add some chances for his attack. Isco has made 32 apperances for the reigning European champions and have become fans favorite this season.
Manchester City were able to make their mark on Premier League but their European performances are far below to their level and a player like Isco would help a lot to break the jinx for Manchester City. Isco performances are so good that he is compared to Zidane by the legend himself. It would take a lot of money for City to lure the midfielder to Manchester.
With Financial Fair Play also in place, City needs to sell some of their players to accomadate the Spanish International. City are also eyeing to cash in on Samir Nasri as he is out of form for a while now. This money would be a great addition to City’s season budget considering Finacial Fair Play.
