Real Madrid star waiting for Liverpool interests before deciding on his future

Liverpool have been a busy club this summer with the new manager Jurgen Klopp making sure that he adds some top quality personnel to his squad ahead of the next season.

The likes of Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum were the attacking additions to the squad and with all the depth already in the squad, it is hard to see the club make a move for any more attacking players before letting one go.

However, recent reports suggest that star Real Madrid youngster Martin Odegaard is inclined towards a move to the club this summer.

The 17-year old moved to Real Madrid on a £3 million move but managed to make just the 3 appearances in all competitions. Though he came into the club under the former manager at the club, Odegaard has not been able to impress Zinedine Zidane the new boss and is understood to be on the verge of a move away from the club.

It is also revealed that the Spanish outfit wants the 17-year old to move to Germany for natural and consistent game time with the likes of Hamburg and Bayer Leverkusen interested in his signing.

However, it is understood that the German duo are sulking over his wages and are not yet ready to make a move for the youngster.

It is also revealed that Real Madrid wants him to work for a German coach and feel that his growth will be quicker under one.

This has seen the 17-year old linked with a move to Premier League outfit Liverpool.

Odegaard’s father Hans-Erik has a meeting planned with Real officials to take the decision over his son’s destination and it is understood that the son and the father are now waiting for any kind of interests from Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.

Odegaard had a trail at Anfield before his move to Real and it is possible that the whole environment at the Melwood training complex appealed to him but it is to be seen if Klopp will make a move for another attacker with plenty of them in the squad already.

The Norwegian international needs regular game time under his belt to improve and even if he makes the move to Liverpool, he will not be able to find that game time especially with Liverpool absent from Europe.

So do you think Liverpool should move for Martin Odegaard?
