According to recent reports in Metro, Real Madrid are willing to sell Gareth Bale to Manchester United, in a spectacular £90m deal in the January transfer window. Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for Bale after Cristiano Ronaldo ruled out a big-money return to Old Trafford.
Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to let the Welshman go after just over a season at the club. Gareth Bale is the main target for Manchester United in the January transfer window, and Real Madrid are prepared to sell him to the Old Trafford outfit for £90 million after his 2013 summer arrival for £85 million from Tottenham.
Manchester United are willing to offer Bale a whooping £300,000-a-week to join the Old Trafford outfit. It is suggested that Carlo Ancelotti is not happy happy and has become frustrated with Bale’s lack of effort when Real don’t have the ball. Ancelotti has been impressed with Isco this season. Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, James Rodriguez and Ronaldo are all well established in Ancelotti’s plans meaning Bale could be surplus to requirements unless he can displace Isco.
Real Madrid manager Ancelotti in a recent interview said “Gareth Bale is very important for us because he has a fantastic quality in every sense. We have to replace him. We have a fantastic squad so we have to replace him. You lose things in both attack and defence with Gareth.” Bale had a fantastic first season in Real Madrid, netting 22 goals and playing a key role in the club’s Champions League and Copa del Rey triumphs, but has perhaps had less of an impact in 2014/15 season.
It is terrifically exciting prospect to see Gareth Bale with Wayne Rooney, Angel Di Maria, Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao. Red Devils fans would have a very exciting second half of the season on their hands.
