Arsenal will be looking for maximum points when they face the stuttering Southampton tonight as their fight goes on to win back the top spot in the league table.

Now winless in 6 matches in all competitions, alarm bells are already ringing around St. Mary’s Stadium as the struggling squad slipped down to 12th position and not showing any signs of turn around. On the other hand, having won the most Premier League away points at the moment and having only ever tasted defeat once in a Boxing Day match, the odds seem to lie with Arsenal tonight.

However, Arsene Wenger is still without a number of key players with injury layoffs. Alexis Sánchez, Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta, Francis Coquelin, Danny Welbeck, Santi Cazorla and Tomás Rosicky all set to be sidelined against Southampton also.

The last meeting between these two teams saw an unexpected win for Southampton, interestingly which has only happened once in the past 11 League meetings, thanks to goals from Sadio Mane and Dusan Tadic.

Here is the starting line-up for both the teams.

Southampton Starting Line-up: Stekelenburg, Clasie, Fonte, Long, Davies, Mane, Wanyama, Martina, Ward-Prowse, Van Dijk, Bertrand

Southampton Substitutes:

Arsenal Starting Line-up: Cech; Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal; Ramsey, Flamini; Walcott, Ozil, Campbell; Giroud

Arsenal Substitutes:
