After the thrashing that the Gunners handed to Watford last weekend, Arsene Wenger’s men will be up against a stubborn Hammers side who have been hard to beat this season under Slaven Bilic. Anything less than 3 points from this game will surely end Arsenal’s title hopes this season and they will have to fight it out even for a point in this game.
The Hammers drew their previous game against Palace at home and will be hoping to better their performance against the Eagles especially against a side that can give them a chance to move into the top-4 come the end of the season.
Arsene Wenger in his press conference before this game revealed that the club has no new injuries to worry about. The likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Rosicky, Wilshere, and Cazorla are all expected to return at the end of this month and will not be available for selection for this game. The rest of the squad is fit and ready which gives the manager a selection dilemma for this crunch game.
Here is Arsenal’s team that is set to face West Ham at the Upton Park for the last time:
Arsenal XI: David Ospina, Hector Bellerin, Laurent Koscielny, Gabriel Paulista, Nacho Monreal; Mohammed Elneny, Francis Coquelin; Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Alex Iwobi; Danny Welbeck
Arsenal Subs: Cech, Gibbs, Mertesacker, Chambers, Ramsey, Walcott, Giroud
West Ham XI: Adrian, Tomkins, Reid, Ogbonna, Antonio, Cresswell, Noble (c), Kouyate, Payet, Lanzini, Carroll
West Ham Subs: Randolph (GK), Hendrie, Oxford, Obiang, Moses, Valencia, Emenike
