The Premier League Super Sunday brings one of the fiercest local derbies in world football as Everton host their neighbours Liverpool in the first Merseyside Derby of the season.

A lot of passion and emotion is attached with the game from the fans as every house in Liverpool will either be blue or red for the day and even the best friends will become enemies for those ninety minutes.

The two sides just hate to lose to each other in the longest running top flight derby of English football which also includes the most number of red cards to its name.

While it is traditionally called as “friendly derby” but being friendly has been the last thing between players in the game in past and Sunday should not be an exception.

The two sides are separated by only one point in the table. Everton have a good momentum at the moment and will be favourites to see underperforming Liverpool side. Everton have 12 points from seven games compared to Liverpool’s eleven and are sitting four points above their bitter rivals at the fifth position in the table.
