The English Premier League this weekend has a number of mouth-watering matches and the weekend’s first match is a huge one between Chelsea and Liverpool. The clash is not just between two English giants but also a fight between two different minds in Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho. Klopp recently secured his first Liverpool victory and will be going into the game with a bit of confidence.

Chelsea, on the other hand, were thrown out of the League Cup by Stoke City thanks to a missed penalty from Eden Hazard in the shoot-out. This article is a preview of the game between the two sides. It also includes Team News, Expected Lineups and Predictions.

The Chelsea vs Liverpool game will be played at on Saturday the 31st of October. The Stamford Bridge is the venue and the kick-off is scheduled at 12:45 pm BST (6:15 pm IST).

Liverpool team news: 

Liverpool have been suffering from injuries all this month. Their club skipper Jordan Henderson, Daniel Sturridge, Danny Ings, Jordan Rossiter and Joe Gomez are injured and not available for the game. Kolo Toure picked a hamstring injury and will be out for a month.

Christian Benteke, who was not available for the League Cup clash against Bournemouth is back for the game which as confirmed by Klopp and the player himself. James Milner, however, will come back into the team after serving his ban in the mid-week game.
