Jurgen Klopp is likely to earn a lucrative salary of 10 million euros after he takes over the managerial role at Liverpool, according to Bild.

The Reds sacked Brendan Rodgers from the manager’s post last Sunday after a disappointing draw against merseyside rivals Everton. Liverpool have performed terribly under the manager this season and are currently struggling at the tenth position in the league table which actually worked against Rodgers.

As soon as Brendan Rodgers was sacked from his post rumours started circulating that former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp would be the next manager at Anfield.

As the week progressed the speculations became imminent and it is now believed that Jurgen Klopp will be unveiled as the news manager at Liverpool on Friday, 9th October.

Now, as Jurgen Klopp’s arrival is just a matter of time, German newspaper Bild has claimed that the German manager will earn an annual salary of 10 million euros at Liverpool.

They also report on a couple of the final sticking points between Klopp and Liverpool.

The Merseyside giants have insisted that Klopp has already started working with with the first team coaches already in place at Liverpool: Sean O’Driscoll and Gary McAllister.

This is a problem for Jurgen Klopp, who was expected to bring Zeljko Buvac (54) and video analyst Peter Krawietz with him. Buvac, in particular, is very close to the former Borussia Dortmund boss and is nicknamed “The Brain”.

Finally, the German media house reports that Jurgen Klopp had previously rejected an offer from Tottenham Hotspur and has been a Liverpool supporter since he was a child.

More than Liverpool fans, this particular fact about the manager would surely amaze the Arsenal supporters.
