Manchester City step into Vicarage Road desperately needing their first away win since Kelechi Iheanacho netted that late winner against Crystal Palace on 12th September. The Citizen’s goalless stalemate with Leicester City on Tuesday left them three points behind the top and they cannot afford any complacency against a tough Watford side, who have snatched four points off Chelsea and Liverpool in the past two weeks. As Vincent Kompany again injured, Odion Ighalo will definitely fancy his chances. The Watford striker so far has seven goals in his last six appearances. Kompany’s influence on the City squad is really huge and the team needed him fit to strenghten their title bid in the second half of the season.
The Hornets currently sit ninth in the league table having been promoted in the summer and are only two points adrift fifth-placed Crystal Palace. They welcome Manchester City having lost to a controversial 89th-minute Tottenham goal on Monday.

Here is the starting lineup for Watford and Manchester City.

Watford Starting Line-up: Gomes (GK); Nyom, Cathcart, Britos, Holebas; Capoue, Watson; Abdi, Deeney (c), Jurado; Ighalo.

Watford Substitutes: Arlauskis (GK), Prödl, Behrami, Guedioura, Anya, Berghuis, Oulare.

Manchester City Starting Line-up: Hart, Kolarov, Otamendi, Mangala, Sagna, Yaya Toure (c), Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Silva, Aguero, Sterling

Manchester City Substitutes: Caballero, Bony, Navas, Zabaleta, Fernando, Clichy, Demichelis
