Roberto Carlos, the legendary Brazilian World Cupper is now a central midfielder! Having joined Delhi Dynamos, the franchise team in the Indian Super League (ISL) as a chief coach, Carlos has been so far playing as a central midfielder. And his mates seem to be simply spellbound after watching Carlos on the ground.

Mohun Bagan midfielder Souvik Chakrabarty who has joined Delhi Dynamos, said on the occasion, “Carlos is simply amazing with the ball. We have seen him as one of the greatest defenders in the world football. But I could not imagine that playing in the midfield The Brazilian legend would be equally inexhaustible.”

Carlos has participated in one of the friendly matches of Delhi Dynamos during its tour to Sweden. Another footballer of Dynamos, Prabir Das commented, “Carlos participated in the match for around 45 minutes. And with sheer accuracy he had sent at least four to five winning passes to our forwards. Finally, we won the match against first division Swedish team.”

The footballers of Dynamos are now awaiting the rare classes of their Brazilian coach about how to execute free-kicks. Shouvik added saying, “We are accustomed with amazing long range free-kicks, being unleashed by Roberto Carlos in the World Cups. Nobody can forget his amazing goal against France in the 2006 World Cup through that astonishing long-range free-kick. And we have learnt that from the next week, Carlos will be teaching us how to unleash free-kick with ultimate accuracy. So, we all are waiting for the exciting classes.”
