Manchester United have been dealt a blow in their chase for Romelu Lukaku as he reportedly doesn’t want a move to the Old Trafford in the near future at least. He has been in blistering form for the Toffees and has been plundering goals for fun, already scoring 19 goals for them in all competitions and shows no signs of slowing down.
The reluctance might stem from the fact that he is garnering interest from clubs like Real Madrid and PSG who are ready to smash the bank for the talented Belgian striker and are ready to offer Everton the 50 million sterling asking price they have set for the striker.
The player feels Manchester United have fallen off the crest and also the fact that he is a Chelsea fan makes an impact in his judgement. He is said to be open to a move back to Chelsea where he feels he can still fill the boots of a certain Didier Drogba as was originally planned for him.
Chelsea would however want him as well as his partner in crime, John Stones as they would look to complete a 100 million sterling raid on the toffees for the players who cost a combined 28 million pounds. The 28 million in question is the price Everton paid to Chelsea for Lukaku back when Mourinho brought in Diego Costa into the squad. The player has gone on from strength to strength since then and has always registered at least 15 goals in the league every season.
While an expensive homecoming might be some moment of the self-professed Drogba fan, the riches of PSG complete with a guaranteed title or the pride of putting on the white of Real Madrid might make strong cases in the Belgian’s mind over the coming transfer windows,
