Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo had a tough summer so far off the field as he is alleged of tax fraud by Spanish authorities.
He is currently participating in FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia and have helped Portugal qualify for the semifinals of the tournament.
The European champions will now face South American counterparts Chile in the first semifinal of Confederations Cup on Wednesday night.
But the Portuguese skipper was taunted by public in Russia as they were shouting the name of his rival Lionel Messi on Tuesday.
Ronaldo disembarked the team bus and was welcomed by the chants of Messi by the crowd in Kazan.
However, the 32-year looks undisturbed as he went passed the people who tried to provoke him.
Ronaldo and Portugal face a tough task to outplay Chile as they go into the game as underdogs. Chile have the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal and Vargas who are looking in good touch going into the game.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer speculations continue with Real Madrid yet to convince the forward over staying at Santiago Bernabeu next season.
He was the driving force in their Champions League triumph last season as Real Madrid managed to knock top teams like Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Juventus to win the coveted trophy for a record twelfth time.
Recently Real Madrid president has also revealed that the Portuguese international is currently angry and hurt as the club are set to hold discussions once his Confederations Cup campaign is concluded.
The likes of Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain are linked but a move remains highly unlikely with Los Blancos confident of keeping him for next season.
Ronaldo is currently alleged for a tax fraud of over €14.7 million over his image rights during 2011-14. If proven guilty, he could be handed a huge imprisonment up to 5 years.
