Chelsea’s latest signing Juan Cuadrado has revealed a shocking reason for his lightening speed. Cuadrado was speaking to “Sunday People” and he claimed that a “Witch-Hunt” is the real reason for his speed on the pitch.
Juan Cuadrado said:
“I like to run a lot out on the pitch”
“In fact, I run between 10km and 12km during a match and that is why after having played, I tend to go to sleep late.
“It’s because I still have all this adrenaline inside my body.
“In the past, I had this nightmare in which I run and run – and a witch is running right behind me.
“When she is about to catch me, I get up. Up to now, she has not caught me yet.”
Juan Cuadrado moved to Chelsea after completing a £27 Million move on the Deadline Day of the January Transfer window.
Premier League fans are yet to see Cuadrado’s true abilities as the Colombian only came off the bench against Aston for last 10 minutes of the game. Cuadrado is expected to make his full Chelsea debut against Everton on Wednesday night.
Juan Cuadrado has attracted wide attention from the former Premier League greats since joining Chelsea. Ex-Arsenal and Premier League legend Thierry Henry had praised Chelsea’s recent acquisition and claimed, Cudarado has everything that is needed to become an established player for Chelsea in the Premier League.
Contrary to Henry, Manchester United legend Paul Scholes had a warning fired at Cuadrado. Scholes claimed, Cuadrado does not have the stats to prove his worth and it will not be easy for Cuadrado to make his mark in the league as the Premier League is getting ever so competitive. For Cuadrado to stand out in athe Chelsea squad, filled with stars, Cuadrado has to be at his very best week in week out.
