Shocking: Angry Chelsea star fights with friend after losing a game in FIFA 17!!

Diego Costa is well known for his physical, aggressive style of play on the football pitch, but now it seems as though he’s taken his hardman persona to a totally different level.

The 28-year-old has returned home after scoring for Spain during the international break and was clearly in relaxation mode as he and some friends enjoyed a few games of FIFA 17.

However, one friend might want to make sure he never loses to Costa on the video game ever again because the Chelsea star dished out his own unique form of punishment as a consequence.

The video posted to Instagram Stories, showcases Costa’s savage treatment of his friend following the FIFA match, with the teams appearing to be Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Savage! Don’t ever lose to Diego Costa on FIFA 17! #fifa17 #costa #ouch ???

With the game’s music and commentary blaring in the background, Costa decided to slap his supposed friend across the arm on a number of occasions as a forfeit for losing before concluding that that wasn’t enough:

Near the end of the clip, Costa then used a kitchen utensil to hit his friend on the palm of his hand a few times for good measure. The striker broke out in laughter as his mate visibly felt the effects of that FIFA beating.

So, Costa is having fun away from the field (even if it is at his friend’s expense) but he also seems to be back to his very best on it, having been part of a Chelsea side which finished down in tenth.

The former Atletico Madrid man has forced his way back into the Spanish team after not being selected for Euro 2016 and is currently the Premier League’s top scorer this season with six goals.

He’ll be looking to continue his excellent run of form when the champions Leicester City visit Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
