Shocking: Arsenal In Danger Of Losing 10 Senior Players Including Former La Liga Duo In The Next Two Seasons!

Back to back victories in the Premier League and the Champions League will give Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal plenty of confidence going into the busiest time of the English schedule.
The manager will be happy having qualified for the next round of the Champions League at the top of their group as they go into the next round of Premier League fixtures in the second place in the points table, 3 points off the top of the table.
However, not everything is rosy at the Emirates with the manager and fans more concerned about the future of their players than the form of the team at the moment.
Recent reports suggested that star former La Liga duo Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are stalling new contracts with the club in search of better wages. It is understood that both the players are demanding record wages to put pen to paper with both players having just over 18 months left on their contract.
The manager will surely try to pin them down to the club but Sanchez and Ozil are not the only players in the club that are close to the end of their contract.
According to a report from the Express, Arsenal has up to 8 senior players who are entering the final stages of their contract with the club.
German defender Per Mertesacker and Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla are two players who will run down their contract at the end of the season but the Gunners have the option to extend their contract by a year in their deal.
And the Mirror went on to suggest that 6 other players are also in their final few months of the contract.
According to the reports, Olivier Giroud, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mathieu Debuchy, Kieran Gibbs and Wojciech Szczesny are all contracted till 2018 and will be free agents if Wenger does not manage to extend their contracts.
Speaking the media recently about the situation of Ozil and Sanchez, Wenger said, “That explains to you why we have a lot of work to do, but you are only interested in two cases.”
“There are six or seven cases at the moment, but that is the usual case — it is every year like that,” he added.
The manager went on to explain that a couple of players have already opened talks and that a couple of players leaving the club will not affect its quality.
“We have started talking to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and we start as well and will extend certainly, with Santi Cazorla,” he said.
“Yes, but Arsenal is a big club. It is not one or two players who will make the difference to the club,” he added.
Hector Bellerin has been the only player who has put pen to paper for the Gunners this season but it is understood that Wenger is not really bothered and that he is confident of striking deals in the second half of the season.
However, if they do not manage to sign new contracts till the start of the next season, Arsenal will be in grave danger of losing the core of the team, all at once.
Do you think Wenger can get his players to sign new contracts before the summer?
