Shocking Deal: Manchester United Start Negotiations With €38million Centre Back!!

Manchester United want to sign a new central defender this month and Victor Lindelof has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford.
The latest reports suggest that the deal to sign the Swedish defender is stuttering and now United are once again looking to sign Roma star Kostas Manolas.
According to the Sun, Mourinho has moved in with an offer of 32.5 million pounds (€38million) to agree the signing of the Greek centre back.
The reason Jose Mourinho sanctioned a bid for Manolas is because talks with Victor Lindelof have hit a wall.
Benfica’s highly-rated defender looked to be on his way to Old Trafford but a deal has not yet gone through.
Confusion has overshadowed Lindelof’s proposed transfer.
Back in the summer transfer window, the Red Devils were looking to sign the 25-year-old player who is one of the best defenders in the Serie A, however, Roma did not want to sell and the move did not happen. The Italian giants also slapped a price tag of €45million on their prized asset (Goal).
As per the provided Sun link, the situation has not changed much. The Giallorossi are playing hard ball and do not want to sell the former AEK Athens star.
Therefore, it will not be surprising if Roma reject the offer and the Red Devils should meet the asking price to sign the highly rated star.
This season, Kostas has featured in fifteen league games for the Serie A side and provided one assist.
The 6ft 1in centre-back is a rock in all aspects of defence. He has speed, strength and is assured on the ball.
United fans may see some of hardman Nemanja Vidic in him should he join Old Trafford, for in his first AEK Athens game he scored against Olympiakos while playing with a broken cheekbone!
It is that bashfulness and aggression which has already seen the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal linked with him in the past.
Manolas has been prone to rare lapses in concentration, most noticeably a poor headed backpass last season against Hellas Verona which allowed Bosko Jankovic to score.
