The Mario Balotelli saga at Liverpool is just getting bizarre. Few hours after it was revealed that his agent offered him to Liverpool’s city rivals Everton, Italian daily Gazzetta Dello Sport has reported that the out-of-favour striker now wants to join arch rivals Manchester United.
The Italy international has been left in the cold by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and the German has publicly said that 26-year old does not feature in his plans for the new season.
And Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola, has since offered the marksman to Jose Mourinho after Balotelli made him aware he is desperate to seal a reunion with his former Inter boss at Old Trafford.
The striker has been recently linked with a move to several Serie A sides, but according to reports in Italian daily Gazzetta, Raiola wants Balotelli to remain in the Premier League for financial benefits.
According to the report, United manager Jose Mourinho would consider the chance to sign the 26-year-old striker. However, looking at Balotelli’s form in the previous seasons, the move looks highly unlikely.
