According to reports from Sky Sports,  Manchester United starlet Paddy McNair is keen to move away from Old Trafford on a permanent basis as he is keen to have a first team football.

The Northern Ireland international has always struggled to get enough playing time at Manchester United. New manager Jose Mourinho is keen to keep hold of the player as he sees him as a bright prospect for the future. The former Chelsea coach is ready to allow McNair to leave on loan for the upcoming season.

However, the 21-year old is willing to move permanently away from the club. The player has already attracted interest from a host of clubs both in Premier League and Championship.

The likes of Aston Villa, Celtic, Sunderland, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, and Burnley are all tracking the situation of the young player as they are ready to activate his release clause which is worth £5.1m.

McNair broke into Manchester United’s first team under Louis van Gaal back in 2014/15 and have represented the Red Devils in 18 fixtures across the competitions. However, after being plagued with an injury, the player had been limited just nine outings last season but has impressed at Euro 2016 with Northern Ireland.
