Real Madrid are planning for a major shakeup this summer in order to move head and shoulders above their rivals Barcelona, according to reports.
Zinedine Zidane wants to bring in a host of fresh talent in the summer and a new goalkeeper is at the top of his wishlist with Manchester United’s David De Gea or Chelsea shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois leading the way.
Spanish publication Diario Gol claim Courtois’ team-mate Eden Hazard is also a priority target for Zidane.
The report states real chief Florentino Perez and director of football Jose Angel Sanchez have already drawn up a plan to help Zidane take the club to new heights.
With two Premier League raids planned, Zidane is also keen to land a midfielder in the form of either Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti or Monaco star Bernardo Silva.
In an attempt to scupper Barcelona’s transfer plans, they are also set to try and lure Juventus’ Paulo Dybala to the Bernabeu.
Barcelona are thought to be keen on the 23-year-old as he has been viewed as a long-term successor to his Argentine compatriot Lionel Messi.
Should a move for Dybala fail, Real will turn their attention to Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe or Borussia Dortmund hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
With Zidane keen to bring in a host of stars in the transfer window, a clear out of the deadwood in his squad is needed.
And the report claims James Rodriguez, Isco and Alvaro Morata will all be heading towards the exit.
The publication states in Perez’s eyes the three aforementioned players have already been ‘sold’ with their time in the Spanish capital set to end at the end of the season.
