Saido Berahino could be next on Manchester United’s shopping list as the West Brom striker was spotted inside the Old Trafford stadium during United’s FA Cup tie against Arsenal.

The England international took his position at Old Trafford, next to representative Aidy Ward, for the quarter-final tie. His appearance has started the speculation of him joining the likes of Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie next season at United.

Manchester United’s experiment with Radamel Falcao has failed badly as the Columbian hitman has failed to impress in his time at Old Trafford. It is looking even more unlikely that Van Gaal would not retain Falcao for next season after the manager chose to send Januzaj instead of Falcao when United needed a goal late on to draw the game last night.

Berahino is one of the most sought after players in the league at the moment with clubs like Liverpool and Tottenham expressing their interest in signing the young striker. Berahino himself has admitted that he would move on to bigger and better things next season.

Berahino has scored 18 goals this season for West Brom and has been the major reason in West Brom maintaining their status as the Premier League club. United’s interest in Berahino makes perfect sense as the red devils are dealing with two out-of-form strikers in Falcao and Van Persie.

There are wide beliefs around the club that both Van Persie and Falcao will leave Old Trafford next season and it would be a perfect place for Berahino to accomplish his dreams of playing for one of the best sides in the world and it will inject some much needed pace up front for van Gaal’s side.

There will be plenty more to follow on this story.
