Nacho Monreal has slowly cemented his place in the Arsenal line-up this season with some superb performances. He has been one of the best defenders in the Premier League his season and has helped Arsenal stay at the top of the table at the moment.
Monreal will be happy to stay at the club which is at the right end of the table and will hope to win more silverware with the London franchise.
He has replaced Kieran Gibbs as the first choice left back at the club and has now extended his contract till 2019 though not officially.
