Arsene Wenger was finally able to get his hands on a defender and a striker last week after spending more than £50m on Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi to bring them to the Emirates this summer.

These signings have made Arsenal a stronger outfit and though the manager might still be looking at options to add to his squad, he will surely have an eye on the players who do not belong to the squad for the next season.

There are a number of players in Arsenal’s squad that might be sent out on loan before the deadline day with the likes of Calum Chambers and Jack Wilshere reportedly on their way out of the club in the coming days.

One such player who is linked with a loan move away from Arsenal this summer is German national Serge Gnabry.

The 21-year old move to the Emirates back in 2012 and has so far made just the 10 appearances for the senior side in his time at the club.

He was on loan at West Brom last season where he got just the 1 appearance under his belt before returning to the Emirates.

And it is now understood that German giants Bayern Munich are interested in his signature  before the end of the transfer window.

The 21-year old winger was a part of the German side that were runners-up in the Olympics in Brazil recently and is regarded as one of the most exciting talents in Europe at the moment.

He has hardly got a regular chance to play for the Gunners and is hoping to move to a club where he can get enough game time ahead of the new season.

However, with Bayern Munich reportedly interested in his signature, Gnabry may not be able to find a place in the starting XI regularly with all the stars that are already fighting for places at the Allianz Arena.

Reports from Bild reveal that Bayern are ready to make a move for the youngster and will loan him to Werder Bremen in his first season in the Bundesliga.

Gnabry is only an Arsenal player until the end of this season as his contract with the club is set to expire so it is safe to assume that Arsenal will want to cash in on the interest from Bayern if the player is not ready to sign a new contract with the Gunners.

It will be interesting to see if the 21-year old does make the move before Wednesday.
