When Jurgen Klopp took over Liverpool in August, he recognized that the club has lost its identity and he explained that it was important for players to want to play for the club rather than just to learn at the club.

And not even a season into his reign at the club, the German has already stamped his authority on the team and has made players want to play for the club for a long time.

Star play maker Phillipe Coutinho is undoubtedly one of the most important players for the club in the last couple of season. He is an extremely talented player who can also find the net consistently.

His game style and growth have inevitably linked him with the likes of Barcelona and it looked like Liverpool would lose another star player to the Catalan giants if they step up their interest this summer.

However, the former Inter Milan man put a smile on a number of faces when he explained that he wants to stay at Anfield for the foreseeable future.

The 23-year old who is just growing in confidence said that it was a dream come true for him to be playing for the Merseyside outfit and explained that he was thinking only about winning trophies with the club.

‘I just like to live in the moment. I am not looking ahead because being here at Liverpool is a dream come true,’ said Coutinho.

‘I am very happy and my focus is on helping Liverpool fight for trophies.’

With Klopp at the helm of the club, Liverpool are only looking upwards and Coutinho felt that he had a perfect chance to grow and learn under one of the best coaches in football.

He also explained that he was lucky to be playing in the EPL and that he is not really pondering over a move this summer.

‘I am already playing in the best league in the world and I have a number of years left on my contract that I only renewed last year,” he explained.

He also reserved special praise for his manager and felt that he was becoming a better player under the German.

‘In training, we are working hard and enjoying his methods, which are helping to make us better players”

‘Klopp has put his ideas forward and they are helping to make me an even better player.’

Klopp’s success in the Bundesliga has taken him to a respected level and he will try and repeat the same feat in the EPL.

Though there are doubters whether the German will be able to weave his magic in England, the mid-fielder felt that he will surely take the club back to its best and that the club was lucky to have him as a manager.

He (Klopp) created a highly successful side at Dortmund and it is great for Liverpool to have him,’ said Coutinho.
