Chelsea midfielder Willian will be rewarded with a new whopping deal to prevent possible bids for the Brazilian. The 27-year-old midfielder has been the standout performer for the Blues, despite the club lingering 12th in the Premier League table. Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Bayern Munich have all shown their interest in the effervescent player, but the club are trying to keep their effervescent player.
Willian joined Chelsea in a 30 million pound move from Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013. The player still have two-and-a-half years contract with Chelsea, and the player is reported to be earning 80,000 pound-a-week and the new deal will see this getting better to 120,000 pound-per-week.
The Chelsea midfielder has scored 10 goals for the team across all competition so far, but will be tempted to move to greener pastures if the club did not earn a spot for Champions League football for next season, which as of now, is quite unlikely.
Nevertheless, Willian expressed last month that he do not want to leave Chelsea, claiming that he is happy with the Premier League champions.
“I am very happy here,” Willian told the Daily Telegraph earlier. “When I was playing in Ukraine I wanted to come here so coming here was the realisation of a dream. Of course, I want to stay. But at the same time my head is quite calm. I am just going to see how things go. I am happy.”
But with the club currently in midst of a bit jeopardy, the midfielder might leave the club. However it is expected that a stern decision will not be made by the player before Club appoints a permanent manager.
Not only Willian, Eden Hazard, Oscar and several other key players are reportedly targeted by various clubs.
