Liverpool have recently paid heavily for their defensive mistake and more so for their Goal-keeping errors in several competitions. But they have decided to tie Belgian international Simon Mignolet to a 5 year deal this week.
However, just weeks after saying that he is satisfied with the goal-keeping options he has, Jurgen Klopp is now reportedly ready to let second choice keeper Adam Bogdan this January.
Adam Bogdan was signed by ex-Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers as a back-up for Simon Mignolet last summer but just 6 months later, the shot stopper has fallen down the pecking order.
Bogdan was not given too many chances to prove himself but did no favors to himself as he made a horrific mistake in the League Cup earlier this season.
He was replaced by Danny Ward who was bought back to Liverpool after his loan spell was cut short and it looks like Bogdan’s time is up at Liverpool with the manager happy to sell him January and not wait till the summer.
It is not surprising move from Jurgen Klopp as he starts to clear the mess the previous employer left at Anfield.
Bogdan has potential but is nowhere near good enough for a Champions League aspiring side. He was not even the first choice at Bolton before Liverpool and is not surprising to see his career at Anfield hanging in the balance.
Ultimately, Bogdan failed to impress the Merseyside club and Klopp has seen something in him that sees him want the player sold from the club.
Do you think it is harsh to sell Bodgan just 6 months after purchasing him?
