Arsenal target and talented midfielder desperate to leave Ligue 1 club

  • Arsenal’s first choice midfielders Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin have been sidelined till the end of this method and Wenger is reportedly looking for suitable replacements in the midfield.

According to reports, Arsenal is almost completing a deal with the talented midfielder,Adrien Rabiot, for a fee of $21.5m from PSG and rumours about the transfer increased ever since his mother arrived in London to discuss a move to Arsenal.

The French international has not been a regular starter for the French champions and a move to Arsenal would definitely help his cause, as he has scored only 1 goal in 19 appearances so far.

The 20 year old star would do well to bolster Arsenal’s midfield, together with a defensive midfielder, if he joins up at Emirates.

Rabiot’s inclusion in the team would help Aaron Ramsey to move up-front which will enable Ozil to be more free and this would result in more chances for Arsenal.

The player voiced his desire to leave PSG as he has not got enough chances to prove himself, with Marco Verratti getting the nod ahead of the youngster

    most of the times.

This news has angered both the PSG fans and manager Laurent Blanc who branded the Frenchman as disrespectful and made a claim that he was using the

media to get out of the club.

“It annoys me, I don’t want to say anymore and I’m going to concentrate on tomorrow’s match,” he said last month.

“Adrien has to understand that when you have the possibility of going to the end of your contract and to leave for free, you can do it.”

“Otherwise, when you sign a contract of five years with PSG, you have to respect your first club.”

Amidst all these rumours, his mother being his agent is said to have travelled to London to talk of a possible move to Arsenal as the youngster would do well to gain first-team experience if a permanent deal is agreed.
