A few weeks back, celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan took to Twitter to sell an allegedly made up story about his conversation with Chelsea defender and captain John Terry and the story was also printed.
Morgan tried his best to convince the former Englan skipper to join Arsenal from arch rivals Chelsea however, it ended in failure.
John Terry who is 34 now played every single minute of Chelsea every single league game to lead the Blues to he Premier League title but started the new season poorly.
The first down of the season was when Jose Mourinho substituted in at half time in the 3-0 humiliating loss against Manchester City. Th next game, Terry was predicted to be benched by Mourinho but to everyone’s surprise h started the game against West Bromwich Albion but did not finish the match as he was red carded at the beginning of the second half. However, Chelsea had a hard fought victory against the Baggies at the Hawthorns with 10 men.
Speculations started raining in that the relationship between Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and the Blues favourite John Terry has taken a dip and the Portuguese mastermind had stopped talking with his skipper.
According to the Guardian’s Football Weekly, Mourinho no longer addresses his captain on the training ground.
Piers Morgan tried to make the best of the situation trying to pursue the English legendary defender to follow his former teammate Petr Cech to cross town rivals Arsenal but it was not successful as the Mr. Chelsea said that, “I’d rather chuck myself under the bus than move from Chelsea to Arsenal.”
Chelsea will be playing against Everton at Goodison Park this Saturday and Arsenal will host Stoke City on the same day as both will be looking to perform better to push Manchester City for a title challenge. Chelsea has only collected four points from four games this season while arsenal has seven compared to Manchester City’s 100% start of the season collecting 12 points from 4 games and conceding zero goals in the process.
