The controversial manager, Jose Mourinho, was sacked on Thursday following the extremely shambolic season at Stamford Bridge. The Portuguese parted ways with the London club with mutual consent and ended his era at Chelsea.

To some, the sacking seemed an idiotic decision of the management. Letting go one of your most successful managers is cringeworthy. The exit of Mourinho is a loss to both the English club and the whole of the league.

As soon as the official announcement of the sacking was done, the supporters of other clubs went bonkers, especially the Manchester United fans who are in desperate need of a new boss.

Louis van Gaal has been proved as a failed aspect at Old Trafford. Having spent £250 million on the transfer was a mammoth move and it went in vain. The team has poorly performed and everyone blames LvG’s philosophy for it. Well, speaking realistically it isn’t just his failed philosophy or his super slow process of way to glory, the injuries too have added to the manager’s problems.

Majority of the mancunians want LvG sacked and demand Jose to be the replacement. Reports suggested that authorities contacted Mourinho for a move. According to Mundo Deportivo, Jose has apparently rejected the offer to manage the English giants.

The reason behind this has been said that Jose refused to take over as the gaffer out of respect for the Dutchman. Mourinho admires LvG and believes that he does not deserve the sack and should be awarded more time at the club to prove himself. That is indeed a kind gesture from the former Blues’ manager but this news will sadden the United fans to a major extent.
