The french midfielder was a free agent after getting released by Arsenal. Abou Diaby moved to north London from Auxerre in 2006 and was the longest-serving player in the Arsenal squad. The France international played 180 games for Arsenal, but was restricted to just one first-team appearance last term, against Southampton in the third round of the Capital One Cup. For the man dubbed ‘the next Patrick Viera’, the path in which is career has taken is a terribly sad one, a modern day football travesty you might say.
The 29-year-old suffered from as many as 40 separate injuries during nine years with the club. The Frenchman showed his talent whenever he was fit and selected but he was very unfortunate with his injuries. The midfielder was trolled many times for his successive injuries. One supporter was quick off the mark to edit Diaby’s Wikipedia changing his current club to ‘hospital’. Brutal, but funny.
Here are two images of the brutal troll.
If Abou Diaby can pass a medical then you can ask that girl out.

Recent reports say that Marseille are also interested in the player and launched an eleventh hour offer for him.
It remains to be seen where the future lies for the talented midfielder.
The first thing he should hope for, injury does not follow him to his new club.
