Radamel Falcao is one of the hottest property in the transfer market at the moment and Chelsea look certain to sign the Colombian hitman this summer after his less than impressive season with Manchester United.
Falcao’s name has been constantly linked with the blues in recent weeks with Jose Mourinho personally saying that he will do whatever it takes to show the real Falcao to the world. Mourinho revealed the pain he feels when people think, Falcao is no longer a striker.
Several South American media have a reason to believe that Falcao has agreed personal terms with the club and the deal is 90% complete.
Falcao’s transfer to Chelsea has taken another positive turn after Chelsea’s goal keeper Thibaut Courtois has welcomed Falcao’s transfer to Stamford Bridge.
Speaking with Daily Mail, Courtois said: “I don’t know anything about [a transfer], but of course I know Falcao very well.
“He’s a very good boy, he’s a good friend of mine, so if he comes, great.
“That’s the decision of the club. But he would be a very good player for Chelsea.”
Courtois spent two season with Falcao at Atletico Madrid where they won Copa Del Ray and Europa League. Falcao was at his peak during his time in La Liga and the Belgian goal keeper hopes, Falcao could revive his form and show his real worth the world of football.
