Manchester United manager and Players hit the street to celebrate the Derby victory

  • Manchester United players led by their so-called arrogant manager Louis van Gaal showed the world how one should celebrate a victory against their fellow derby rivals. The Dutchman enjoyed the sweet revenge against Manchester City by celebrating the night with City’s women team players. Classic isn’t it???

    Bragging rights firmly belong to Manchester United as they finally beat their derby rival, Manchester City at Old Trafford after losing there previous three home games against the Blues. Ashley Young’s equaliser canceled out Aguero’s opener before Maroune Fellaini put United in front. Second half goals from Juan Mata and Chris Smalling killed the game as a contest. A late Aguero consolation was not enough as City lost 4-2.

    Van Gaal however kept his word by celebrating at Wing’s in Lincoln Square later in the night. Asked in a post-match interview where he was planning to celebrate, the Reds’ boss said: “I can go to Mr Wing’s because when you win, you can go. When you lose, the fans say, What is Louis van Gaal doing?’ Losing and he goes to Manchester’s best restaurant?’ Now maybe I shall go.”

    However, joining him at the restaurant were two players from the City women’s team, Isobel Christiansen and Toni Duggan, who posted a picture on Instagram. However, the picture was later removed following fans backlash.

    Also van Gaal was celebrating the win with his wife Truss and friends, was Everton player Michelle Hinnigan. Also many would have been surprised by seeing a parking ticket on his car when Van Gaal was leaving.

    Apart from their manager, couple of other United players were spotted in the same restaurant celebrating the win over City. The Spanish duo Juan Mata and Ander Herrera, along with Van Gaal’s favourite boy Daley Blind was also present.
